It’s a new year, the Christmas decorations are all packed away and your home looks a bit, well, empty? Right?
I know there are definitely a few empty spaces in my living room, so here at The Living House we have had a look at the new collections hitting the shops and put together our favourite interior finds. Take a look and see if there is something just right to fill that gap in your home and spruce up your room for the new year.
Natural textures are here to stay for another year, with lots of rattan and wood featuring in the new collections, often with pops of colour. Wood slats and decorative finishes are popular, along with luxury finishes like marble on furniture.
Pattern is bold and playful, and adds colour and interest to cushions, accent chairs and rugs.
Stone, concrete and terracotta bring an earthiness to lighting collections, with curvy shapes and simple patterns.
Accessories have a decorative element with bobble designs and rope edge mirrors, bringing a modern twist to a traditional design.
And of course plants - there is always room for a new leafy addition - with the added bonus that this one never needs watering and won’t outgrow its pot!
